Universitas Multimedia Nusantara inaugurated its founding on November 20, 2006. The focus of education is in the field of information and communication technology (ICT). The college was founded by the Kompas Gramedia Group, a leading business group working in the field of mass media, publishing, printing, bookstore hotel and education services. As a founder, Reuters UMN support not only in terms of providing physical infrastructure but also of teachers and facilities internships for students.

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara(UMN) has a definitive campuses are located in areas Summarecon Serpong, Tangerang. Before college definitive stand, UMN and operates offices in Wisma BNI 46, then in August 2008 moved to the Plaza Summarecon Serpong. On 5 September 2008, conducted on-site erection stake definitive campus and begin the academic year 2009/2010 a new campus occupies UMN in an area of 8 hectares, located in the Garden Scientia, Summarecon Serpong, Tangerang, Banten. UMN campus first stage consists of a lecture building (5 floors) and the Rectorate building (8 floors), the total area of the building is 17,000 m2.

General qualifications :

• S2/S3 from reputable university
• Fluent in English, experience in teaching at university
